Hi Margaret, I recently bought an all in one Cannon MG5350 from Amazon for £80.66 but this included VAT .  in June. it takes 5 ink cartridges., which came with it but I  also bought  2  lots of 5 cartridges for £3.99 which I thought was great value for money. The original cartridges are still in use and I do use the printer quite often. but cant tell you how long they will last. hope this helps
